In fact, Angler’s Avenue Pro Shop carries so many goodies, it’s a misnomer to just call it a tackle shop. Russell Gahagan runs Angler’s Avenue Pro Shop, Based in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

“Signing sponsors like Anglers Avenue Pro Shop is very important to us,” said Denny Fox, AIM National Tournament Director. “AIM is geared to the everyday weekend angler, but because of our Sunday qualifier tournaments and low entry fees, can still have a good chance of getting to the podium at any location, and perhaps get to the big leagues.

“That’s what we’re all about. That and making sure our great walleye fishing lakes remain so by using Catch-Record-Release™ so fish are immediately returned to the waters they came from. No fish bouncing in live wells equals nearly zero fish kills,” Fox said. “Last year proved it, when several AIM contests were won by teams who had never even entered a tournament.”

Gahagan likes to say his shop carries everything, including hard-to-find items no one else has. That includes spoons, boat gear, electronics, trolling motors, you name it.

He’s showing his support of AIM in multiple ways. Because he believes in AIM and the C-R-R format, he wants to be the go-to store for AIM Fan Nation. He’s also a regular on the AIM circuit, signing up for all four Wisconsin events this season.

Gahagan started as a Lake Michigan salmon charter captain. He’s also moving into custom-painted crank baits like the Berkley Flicker Minnows and Flicker Shads that are the go-to lures for many. He even carries items like quality sea anchors made by the Amish. Who knew?
