AIM Weekend Walleye Series Announces Warrior Boats

As A Presenting Sponsor for the 2018 Season

Anglers Insight Marketing LLC (AIM) is proud to announce that Melrose, Minnesota-based Warrior Boats is again a presenting sponsor for the 2018 AIM Weekend Walleye Series.

“Ever since the AIM Weekend Walleye Series held its first tournament, Warrior and its angler owners have been there to provide support as AIM brought our ground-breaking Catch-Record-Release™ format to the forefront of tournament angling,” said Denny Fox, AWWS National Tournament Director. “One of AIM’s original owners was the late David A. Andersen, who believed in Warrior and the Weekend Walleye Series so much, as a co-owner of Warrior he was among the first to offer Warrior as a Presenting Sponsor of the series.”

Andersen’s legacy continues in his son, Adam, a frequent AIM competitor and winner of the first David A. Andersen Memorial Shootout in 2016. Other son Kent is Warrior’s national sales manager. This year, the Memorial Shootout is set for Aug. 11 on Minnesota’s Lake of the Woods.

Warrior again will provide a new V1898DC boat powered by a 150hp Yamaha four-stroke engine, to be awarded to the winning team at AIM’s National Championship June 1-2 at Wisconsin’s Chippewa Flowage, near Hayward. Tournament headquarters is Treeland Resorts.

Warrior’s reputation as one of the driest, toughest boats around stems from its five basic reasons to choose the brand:

1.      The industry’s best warranty, an unlimited hull warranty and three-year topside warranty, plus a five-year trailer warranty;

2.      Warrior’s Smart Trolling Keel™ is designed for maximum boat control and to limit bow drift in wind;

3.      Warrior’s Pro Tiller™ Hydraulic Remote Steering enables optimum response at higher speeds than similar tiller-model boats. That means you can put more horsepower onboard than other makes, and maintain control even in rough water;

4.      Unlike some boat builders, Warrior does not use wood to build its hulls. Result: unmatched durability and outstanding resale value; and

5.      Warrior works with Ez Loader to build its own line of trailers made expressly to fit its boats, with extras like a swing tongue, disc brakes, boat tie-downs, LED lighting and Tuff Kote Paint.

“For the type of water walleye anglers often find themselves in, Warrior just can’t be beat, and AIM is fortunate to have them as a Presenting Sponsor,” Fox said.
