AIM Weekend Walleye Series Says Thanks To Our Many Supporting Sponsors Of The 2023 Season

The countdown clock to the first events of the 2023 AIM Weekend Walleye Series continues to tick, and that means more thanks go out to our Supporting Sponsors, many of which have been with AIM since the first cast.

“You’ve already heard about a few of them, so we’re saying thanks to the rest here, both the ones that ‘re-upped’ for this season, and those that joined the party,” said Denny Fox, AIM national tournament director.

A long-time member of the former is Michigan-based supporter Off Shore Tackle, makers of those great yellow planer boards, but those can also be used with another popular Off Shore product, the Tadpole diver.

When properly rigged, divers take live bait trolling rigs down to walleye depth, and then when a fish hits, they quickly turn into in-line weights for easy retrieve. No. 1 and No. 2 sizes are popular for walleye anglers, and its website comes complete with dive depth charts to help you plan your day. Off Shore’s easy-to-use crankbait tuner keeps your baits running straight and true so you reel in fish instead of tangles. See Off Shore’s website for more.

If you’re ready to adopt a team jersey so you and your partner have a truly classy look when standing on the podium next to Denny Fox, Gemini Sport Marketing is for you. Gemini’s sporty jerseys are the most comfortable and classic dress-for-the-podium gear you can find.

Use JT Outdoor Products, and you’ll be two steps closer to a walleye in the net. JT Outdoor offers a full line of both open water and ice fishing rods along with reels and other terminal tackle to use on your next trip regardless of the season.

Technique Specific Rods is what the lineup is built on from the Panhandler to the JTX baitcasters and the ever-popular Black Reign series, they are sure to have you covered. And don’t forget their Ice Rod Line up.

Minnesota-based Outdoor Authority MN is your go-to spot for fishing Upper Red Lake, one of the state’s best walleye fisheries in any season. In summer, guided trips are available on Upper Red, Leech and Mille Lacs lakes. In winter, Outdoor Authority will take you onto Upper Red Lake to fully equipped heated, carpeted and lighted fish houses where your pre-drilled holes will be waiting. Most will have 50-inch TVs and satellite reception, complete with bunks, mattresses and nearby portable bathrooms.

The next two are official sponsors of the 2023 AIM National Championship Shootout on Wisconsin’s Rock River at Fort Atkinson. Located right on the river, the Island Bar and Grill serves food, has ample dockage for 50 boats, seasonal camping, and a full restaurant menu.

When AIM teams visit Fort Atkinson, you can bet that one of the spots for local info and bait that works is The Bait Box on The Rock. This full-service family run shop has live bait and the hottest lures for the river. It also offers rod and reel repair as well as custom-built equipment.

From spinning rods to cranks and tungsten jigs and logo apparel, Rosemore Outdoor Gear should be the first place you fill your spring shopping list online. Its spinning rods are so popular that as of this writing, many are already temporarily sold out. You’ll hear more about Rosemore in an upcoming post about AIM’s 2023 National Championship Shootout first-place prize.

One of AIM’s long time sponsors and supporters is Oconto County, site of several previous AIM events. This season, AIM visits for the May 14 division qualifier on the Bay of Green Bay at Oconto, plus the Wisconsin Division championship Aug. 25 and 26.

The waters off the city are famous for big walleye that move out of the lower bay, and the last time AIM visited it was a July double-header and the winning teams took nearly 80 pounds to the bump board over two days, so this water can produce in spades. If you haven’t fished here, you owe yourself a visit.

Next time we’ll have an in-depth look at that fantastic first-place package that will be at this year’s National Championship Shootout on The Rock River. There’s still time to register for all of AIM’s qualifying events in Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota divisions as well as the new Rivers Division. Check out how at aimfishing.com. And as always, watch for the latest at AIM’s Facebook site.

You know you want to. You know you can.
