The motor also features a new mount design, and another first, a two-speed transmission and the first independently steerable gearcase featuring contra-rotating props for unmatched handling, acceleration and efficiency, all on 87-octane fuel. Matched with unmatched Mercury noise reduction improvements, vibration dampening cowl, and extended maintenance intervals and other innovative features, the V12 Verado is the choice for larger boats.
