Yamaha Marine Begins 6th Year As An AIM

Weekend Walleye Series Presenting Sponsor

Anglers Insight Marketing LLC (AIM) is proud to announce that for the sixth straight season, Yamaha Marine will be a presenting sponsor for the 2019 AIM Weekend Walleye Series.

“The fine folks at Yamaha are continuing the relationship we’ve shared since we began this tournament series, which in 2018 handed out more than $280,000 in cash winnings to anglers in 16 tournaments,” said Denny Fox, AWWS national tournament director. “For a major sponsor to be with a major tournament series non-stop is a great testament to our Catch-Record-Release™ format, the confidence Yamaha has in our philosophy, and our growing Fan Nation,” Fox added. AIM is proud to be associated with such an industry leader.”

“Having Yamaha along for the ride also means that for the sixth season, one smart and lucky team will be leaving Bismarck-Mandan, North Dakota, towing a brand new grand prize Warrior 1898DC with a new Yamaha 150hp four-stroke on the stern, and new Garmin electronics at the console, at the AIM National Championship Shootout May 31-June 1 on the Missouri River,” he said. “That smokin’ package is worth a cool $55,000.”

All Yamaha outboards, from its 9.9 four-stroke kicker made for whisper-quiet trolling, to its 4.2-liter 300hp V-6 are renowned for quality and reliability. So much in fact, that the National Marine Manufacturer’s Association again recognized Yamaha with a CSI award for customer satisfaction in the outboard engine category at February’s Miami International Boat Show. Yamaha has earned the award each year since 2001, a record no other manufacturer has achieved.

Yamaha’s big four-strokes, including the F225, F250 and F300hp models are up to 73 pounds lighter than some competitors, resulting in up to 17 percent more efficiency at cruise RPM. Combined with that proven Yamaha reliability, it makes those long runs to your favorite fishing spots effortless, with plenty of fuel in reserve for the ride home. The F225 and F250 feature 25-inch shafts, and there’s an optional 35-inch shaft for the F300 model.

Any AIM team member knows that 90 percent of getting to the podium is boat control, especially if you’re fighting big river current or that brutal prairie reservoir or Great Lakes wind.

Once you find fish, stay on ’em with optional Helm Master® with Set Point™, compatible with Digital Electronic Control 150hp models on up. It features three modes allowing you to lock on a spot or do a controlled drift, plus make difficult maneuvers close to the dock or other craft a piece of cake.

Each of these feature alternator outputs of up to 70 amps of power, more than enough for your electronics, and to keep those batteries fully charged.

Yamaha’s reliable, mid-range rockstars includes its 75 to 115hp four-strokes for mechanical or tiller uses that are great for mid-size craft and inshore family fun.

The newest edition to the Yamaha portable power lineup is the F20 four-stroke. This 20hp workhorse is available in short or long-shaft versions and with electric or a manual start tiller handle that features Yamaha’s battery-less Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) technology for power with minimum rigging required.

Also new is the high-thrust T25, the perfect lightweight package combining efficient EFI fuel delivery for maneuvering heavier smaller boats.

Experience all Yamaha outboards at its website, or better yet, on the water.
