Don A Gemini Jersey, Check ProChatrr’s Latest, Tie On An Echotail, And Hang On: They’re All 2018 AWWS Sponsors
When the full field of 200 anglers heads onto Green Bay and the Fox River in less than three weeks in the AIM Weekend Walleye Series season opener April 8, many will be carrying, wearing or fishing the next three sponsors of the fast-filling 2018 tournament season.
“All three of the returning sponsors, Gemini custom jerseys, which many AIM members swear—and wear—by, ProChattrr, the forum begun by anglers for anglers needing product info, advice, and instant on-water information, and Vibrations Tackle, makers of unique, hybrid Echotail® baits and others, are strong believers in AIM’s Catch-Record-Release™ format,” said Denny Fox, AWWS National Tournament Director. “We’re happy to have them back.”
“If you see me in my AIM jersey, it came from Gemini,” Fox said. Gemini is the leader in custom tournament jerseys. Colors don’t crack, peel or fade because of their dye sublimation process. There are scores of standard designs to choose from to create your own team colors. They also feature UV protection up to 25, are moisture-wicking and provide great temperature management in heat or cold.
ProChattrr is the go-to source for real-time information on who is catching walleye where during AIM tournaments, but also has videos and news on fishing techniques, where to attend seminars on line and in-person. ProChattrr also features forums for other species.
Rob and Justin Blancher like to keep their innovative Vibrations Tackle in the family. In fact, they own and make the products you see for species from walleye and bass, to salt water applications, from 1/10-ounce for panfish, to 16 ounces. Yup, 16, used for jigging halibut.
Think of the Echotail as blade baits with a twist—a twister tail thrown in just for fun. Lots of catching fun, that is.
New this year is the FunnyBone, a modified Echotail that’s great for casting, trolling or vertical jigging. Walleye “quad packs” keep you ready to catch fish as conditions change, depending on your fishing technique, depth and current. In each pack is a ¼, 3/8, ½ and ¾-ounce size. Tail colors also are interchangeable, and you can also add an available mylar skirt. They should be in the arsenal of every walleye angler.
