Anglers Insight Marketing LLC (AIM™)
New Online AIM Registration Starting Jan. 15
Brings A More Streamlined Tourney Process For Teams
Registering for the 2020 AIM Weekend Walleye Series and beyond will get easier with the introduction of a new online registration site that will debut for the 2020 tournament season.
“This new custom-built, unique-to-us software will enable AIM to keep building our great events into the future,” said Denny Fox, AIM national tournament director.
The new procedure will go live at www.aimfishing.com, starting Jan. 15, 2020. Team members will first need to obtain an AIM membership before entering events. This will be achieved by visiting our site and clicking on registration at the top of the page. You will then be prompted to fill out your information, sign documents, and tell us what product you use for contingency’s. You will then be taken to the payment page where you will pay AIM’s annual membership fee of $40 per person.
After each angler buys a membership, they will receive, via the email they signed up with, a password. Each angler will then be able to access the members area through the login portal on the website using their email and password. Over time there will be valuable information in the “Members Only” area.
Starting Jan. 15, teams can enter the portal to sign up for the five-event “Season Ticket” in each state. Open slots remaining for individual tournaments in each state will be available for registration beginning Feb. 1.
When a team signs up for an event or the season ticket, they will be able to enter the side pot with a click of a box. If they choose not to enter at registration but choose to later, they will be able to do so up until 11:59 PM the Wednesday before the event.
“When you register for an event, each team member will receive a confirmation email” Fox advised.
“After logging in to the portal, anglers can access their accounts to see what events they have signed up to fish in the future, and more,” Fox explained.
“The goal is to put everything together in one convenient location for our angler members,” he added. “The new registration system also will allow the site to be expanded in the future to offer even more to AIM members, and enable AIM to grow in the direction that teams, and you, Fan Nation, want us to,” Fox said.
NEW with this system, is something that anglers have been asking for. “Please refund our money if the event is cancelled”. In the past it was nearly impossible. Our new ecommerce company called Stripe from Wells Fargo Bank allows us to do group refunds in the event of a cancellation. A preset amount of the entry fee will be credited back to the credit card that paid for the entry. That’s right, no more drawings for cash if we need to cancel an event.
“We are encouraging all anglers that will be fishing with us this year to go to our site and buy a membership before open enrollment on February 1st. If you will be signing up for a few events, you will want to be in our system so you can seamlessly get your spot when the doors open.” Fox said. “Furthermore, when signing up for an event, all you will need to do is enter the email of you and your partner and all info will appear. It is a good system and should be user friendly”
